Theme: Bridging Gaps: Leveraging the 2024 Access to Medicine Index for Equitable Healthcare
In an effort to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility and enhance the impact of their collective efforts, the Access to Medicine Foundation (ATMF), Medicines Patent Pool (MPP) and the Ecumenical Pharmaceutical Network (EPN) are collaborating to hold a joint webinar. This webinar aims to disseminate the key findings from the 2024 Access to Medicine Index to EPN members, and provide expert insights in the area of access to medicines. By sharing these insights, the webinar will provide a platform for discussing industry trends, evaluating pharmaceutical companies’ contributions to healthcare access, and exploring strategies for leveraging these findings to improve access to essential medicines within faith-based health systems. This initiative underscores the commitment of the organizations to fostering dialogue, collaboration, and actionable solutions for equitable healthcare in low- and middle-income countries.
Additionally, we will discuss innovative approaches to promoting sustainable manufacturing and accelerating the development of life-saving medicines for LMICs using new technologies.
