Jane is a Clinical Medicine, and Social Scientist recognized for turning complex maternal, neonatal, and reproductive health challenges into streamlined, effective care systems. She specializes in integrated RMNCAH services, impactful community health interventions, and the elimination of triple threats among adolescents and young girls, particularly in sexual and reproductive health programmes. With extensive expertise in HIV care, especially in preventing mother-to-child transmission (eMTCT) of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B, her focus is on strengthening maternal health services and utilizing innovative community health approaches across Kenya.
Jane has over a decade of high-impact experience. She has managed significant budgets and overseen funding from major donors like USAID and CDC Kenya. She is known for leading diverse, multicultural teams, improving the integration of health services, and contributing to the development of PMTCT programs and comprehensive RMNCAH services. She is a proven leader in implementing rigorous health policies, mentoring professionals, and advancing public health initiatives.
Jane holds Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from the Kenya Medical Training College and currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at Maseno University
At EPN, Jane’s overall role is to provide general leadership, coordination, and management of relevant project team members at the Secretariat and sub grantee level. She participates in activities aimed at improving quality of MNCH care in Nigeria and Kenya, increasing demand and availability of innovative MNCH products for the management of Post-Partum Haemorrhage (PPH) and infants with respiratory distress syndrome (RDS). She also provides technical support in the implementation of planned activities and in the review of project deliverables ensuring MNCH products introduction in FBO facilities.
