Hillary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance) from the University of Nairobi and a Certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the Kenya Institute of Management, supplemented by USAID Measure Evaluation training.
His expertise spans project design, implementing M&E frameworks, data analysis, and reporting and staff supervision with specialization in data management, business analysis, quality compliance and program management.
He has experience as a Management Associate and MEAL Specialist for Third Party Monitoring project teams that involved implementing program operations and supervising performance monitoring. He has also contributed to USAID-funded projects such as the Kenya Agricultural Value Chain Enterprise and the Resilience and Economic Growth in Arid Lands program. He has also led efforts in analysing and visualizing complex technical concepts significantly enhancing operational efficiency and compliance solutions for KYC checks, employee background checks and Anti-Money Laundering processes at Peleza International Limited.
At EPN, Hillary is responsible for developing performance M&E frameworks, monitoring plans and data collection systems to track project progress. In his role, he closely works in collaboration with partners to ensure data integrity and timely reporting. He leverages his analytical skills, data visualization and expertise in M&E methodologies to drive evidence-based decision-making and program improvement.
Through effective communication and team playing, he is committed to supporting organizational strategic objectives and working effectively with multidisciplinary staff from diverse backgrounds. Hillary adds to his skills, the ability to be detail-oriented and results-focused.
