    The EPN Network has an expansive reach among marginalized communities where church health facilities operate all over the African continent. CHIs are embedded into the communities they serve. Therefore within the Network, is an efficient two-way channel where the EPN secretariat is able to assess where the greatest needs lie and the members are able to inform on the real status on the ground. This remains our value proposition in every partnership.

    What your support will do

    • Investing in training and health system support activities to increase church health sector capacity to deliver quality pharmaceutical services.
    • Conducting research to inform pharmaceutical practice, rational drug use, HIV/AIDS drug adherence/treatment management/access, treatment management of non-communicable diseases, and advocacy efforts to reposition church health facilities.
    • Investing in information sharing through publications and thematic network meetings and workshops.
    • Investing in the access and availability of pharmaceuticals and other health products.
    • Investing in actions and activities to fight against the development of antimicrobial resistance.

    Funding Sources

    Partner Driven
    Implementing partners communicate specific needs. EPN conducts an assessment for the best intervention, generates data and writes proposals for interventions that bring a sustainable solution.
    EPN Driven
    EPN uses its expertise and identifies gaps in pharmaceuticals systems at local and national level. Data is generated to show the project's need and potential impact. We then respond to RFPs that match this need within the NGO Community or pre-emptively approaches potential funders.
    Donor Driven
    Funding organizations whose funding interests are aligned with EPN's expertise choose to partner with us in the implementation of their programs and taking advantage of our vast network within Africa.
