Stephen Kigera is a registered Pharmacist and is the Head of Quality Services at Mission of Essential Drugs Supplies (MEDS) since January 2020. He has been with MEDS for the last 8 years and has over 12 years of experience leading and managing pharmaceutical supply chain, business and product quality. He is also an international auditor, trainer, and consultant and currently serves as a member of the Kenya National Technical Working Group on Pharmacovigilance and Post-Market Surveillance.
He is also the Chairman of East and Southern African Regional Minilab Network Group as well as a Member of – Global network of WHO-prequalified laboratories representing (MEDS). He has a Kenyan accounting qualification, Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Part II, and is currently pursuing his Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from the University of South Wales, UK. He is married with 2 children.
